I love the Honkers ... anyone else?

I'm a guy pushing 30 and seeing videos featuring the Honkers on YouTube always makes me smile. I just love them and their little eyes and bulbous honking noses and how they're always so happy lol. I remember The Best of Elmo when a Honker appeared upset because he didn't get a picture from Elmo, so Elmo gives Honker his last picture and then he was so happy he kisses Elmo and happily runs away. 

They first appeared during season 12 ... anywhere that I can see their first appearance? Was there an episode centering around these new creatures hatched from eggs?

I like them a little better than the Dingers mainly because they have bigger noses. But I remember the Dingers from my childhood.
