Was this short on Sesame Street? (early/mid 1980s)

I'm trying to remember a cartoon "short" on a children's variety tv show, but not sure which show it was on. I saw it around 1982-1985. I posted this question in the Pinwheel board and also the "I Need to Know" board here, as well as a few other sites, no one remembers this...

The short is of a girl who does crafts/hobbies/chores. The style of the animation was very similar to Crystal Tipps & Alistair or Max & Ruby (almost like a stop-motion feel to it, like moving cut-out paper dolls). The colors were vivid with lots of patterns (like flowers and stripes on her dress, the curtains,etc.) & thicker black outlines. I think the girl had yellow or orange hair.

The one short I specifically remember was her sitting at a table, doing a craft project & cutting out paper shapes. I think one time she made a sundial. I think the narrator was a man, possibly with an English accent. I'm not even sure the girl spoke or not. I also feel like she had dog or cat was in these skits, not sure.


It may have been created in the 1970s, even though I saw it in the 80s.

I have searched message boards, youtube, websites about cartoons,etc. I think I might be dreaming this!
