Sesame Street recently announced they would be adding a female character with autism in order to incorporate social skills for everyone involved. Is this still in the plan I hope?

I saw the skit on tv recently. Mixed feelings. I am glad they are discussing it. I am not sure I like the fact that it is a puppet vs a human character (aka real). I think that it would help more.
