The move by 'Sesame Street' to HBO is being seen as racist by many, because many of the show's viewers can't afford premium cable TV. I guess with the move to HBO, 'Sesame Street' will have to be upscaled to meet its new audience....let's see...the neighborhood would be gentrified....Mr. Hooper's store would become a Starbucks....and the Cookie Monster would now crave....CAVIAR!

I don't get why they moved to HBO.But I also don't care. We poor people just have to wait for 9months until they show the "new" HBO episodes on PBS. No big deal.

It's kind of odd Sesame Street is on the same channel that shows Game of Thrones and so many other graphic TV shows.
