About 'Old Ironface'...

SCOOBY-DOO WHERE R U? Season 3, Episode 4: "The Creepy Case Of Old Iron Face"


Hello Folks:

Not that I think that this is too relevant or anything like that, but just to be curious, who was that Dark and Mysterious Figure standing on the dock pier - a few miles from Mama Mione's Restaurant - watching Scooby Doo and Crew float away to that haunted island from the shoreline? I narrowed it down to one of 5 possibities:

1. That Government Agent Guy who revealed himself at the end of the episode after he was investigating that Human inmate trafficking ring and trying to find out who was behind it.
2. One of the escaped inmates who was part of the trafficking ring while hiding in one of those shark torpedoes.
3. One of the guys from that so-called food delivery truck at Mama Mione's restaurant.
4. Mama Mione herself - before she sneaked off to that haunted island and dressed up like Old Ironface to scare those "dang-blasted, nosey-behind meddling" kids off the case. (I know that there many of SCOOBY DOO's crooks wear more than one disguise - before they actually get caught in the monstrous costumes that they are eventually discovered in. What other episodes of SCOOBY DOO feature that?) To me, Old Ironface is another classic entry to my long list of "dark and shadowy figures"; (s)he's almost right up there with Officer John Connelly (MANIAC COP movie series), Jason Voorhies (FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH movie series), Michael Myers (HALLOWEEN movie series), Leatherface (TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE movie series) and even "Captain Slaughter" (POUND PUPPIES cartoon show of the 1980s).
5. One of Mama Mione's supposed restaurant employees (cooks).

All in all, this was actually just one of my favorite episodes from the entire SCOOBY DOO franchise; it was one of the darkest, creepiest and scariest - even though the primary monster in this episode turned out to be a woman. What was your scariest episode in the entire SCOOBY DOO franchise? It can be from either the old school seasons or the new school seasons of SCOOBY DOO.
