I'm going to miss Mr. Owens. He was 1/2 of Hee Haw's greatest. I'd bet you he's reunited with Archie, Grandpa, Minnie, Junior, Stringbean, Jimmy and Jacky, and the dog.

As for Roy, my heart goes to him. Perhaps he can organize a Hee Haw reunion in honor of Buck's passing. So that means Gordy (if he can make it), Gunilla, Lisa, the Hagers, Gailard, Cathy, Barbi, Lulu, Don, and the others who are still alive can pay tribute to this handsome gentleman.

The cause of Buck's death was heart failure (I think). He will be miss.

my Dwight Yoakam tape has "Bakersfield" on it, and that Country tune is my favorite of the album; Owens will be missed, for he played a great part in Country music History.I am glad Roy is still "Grinning".

No you don't know me, but you don't like me;

Say you care less how I feel.

How many of you that sit and judge me,

ever walked the Streets of Bakerfield?

I remember how much our family enjoyed watching him on the Buck Owens Ranch Show, backed up by Don Rich (now deceased) and the Buckaroos. I swear it was the only thing our whole family could agree to watch - for totally different reasons, of course.

He was a class act; truly a gentleman. He was devestated when Don Rich died, and from the interviews he did was clearly never over missing him. Let's hope he's at peace now.

RIP, Sir.
