1949-1969

i can't believe these series of movies ran to almost 1970, think about what flicks were at the cinema at the time, i think i've usually come across the 1950's flicks airing, because i'm not use to seeing the players looking this old and this sort of more modern camera work and music, notice these movies were being made from the late 1940's up to almost 1970, i know the very last flick from 1969 had another actor in the title role, a pretty rare movie to come across and in really awful picture and sound quality if i recall right, but with a funny actor who played a crook in one of the earlier flicks of this franchise, but even though this was made in the late 1960's the views and mood feel really dated, that's partly what makes it so funny, the highlight includes (as often with these movies) the grocery shop man and the little old lady scene. i mean, i gotta tell you, this is a riot, i know critics just writes these off giving each one of them the lowest rating possible, but i've got a weakness for them, and i know people my own age, only experiencing these decades later on tv, find they love them too, girls alike, it really surprises me, i prefer older entertainment anyhow. the grocery shop man is like an old time innocent version of family guy's quagmire.

playin with my heart,
like frisbee thrown around yard,
gets me to fetch,
