Same sets as before

Identical sets to previous film, Tarzan and the Great River.

Clearly shot back to back, which is likely why Mike Henry got hurt and sued.

He got hurt during the second film when the chimpanzee bit him. He suffered through three days of delirium and weeks of fever. Dinky, the chimpanzee, was destroyed as a result.

But yeah, all three of the movies were made in succession. The first and second film reused the same lion and chimpanzee. The second and third films made use of the same sets and both featured Rafer Johnson as the villain. And, incidentally, both films end with Henry fighting Johnson at the bottom of the same scaffolding. Although one's supposed to be in South America and the other is supposed to be in Africa.

I think that Tarzan and the Great River was the best of the three. The worst was probably Tarzan and the City of Gold. They copied James Bond way too closely in that one.
