Was this Randy Quaid's first movie appearance?

I have read on the Internet (including 'The Washington Post') that Targets was Randy Quaid's first un-credited appearance. Can anyone here confirm this for me? Thank you!

I made a further research and found that while still a teenager and majoring in drama at the University of Houston, Randy Quaid met Peter Bogdanovich who was so impressed with Quaid that cast him in a number of his films, beginning with Targets (1968).

I dont know, but he can be clearly seen and credited in Bogdanovichs two movies after this one...The Last Picture Show 1971 and Whats Up Doc 1972.
