Janice Rule overacted
I don't see where she was so great. I've seen the movie numerous times and each time I see it, I dislike Janice Rule's performance. They always say Burt Lancaster was an overactor, but I think Janice Rule in The Swimmer was the even bigger overactor. I thought Burt gave an amazing performance and deserved an Oscar nomination.
