When did you feel for him the most?
This is one of those movies where you feel like you're so with the character. There were a lot of scenes where you feel for the movie's hero. When did you feel for him the most?

shareThis is a little gem of a film. And, I am a sucker for anything Burt Lancaster anyway.
It's taken me a long time to find a copy of 'The Swimmer'. I have been able to recently see it again after years of looking for it.
To your question -- Although I 'felt' for this character pretty much throughout the entire film, I REALLY 'felt' for him twice: when he was at the party arguing about the hot dog cart and being snubbed by folks whom he wouldn't have socialized with 'before', and certainly at the end.
I ordered the book that contains the story this was based on and am getting ready to read it :)

I only saw about half of the film tonight, but I really felt for the character when he was being disillussioned about his daughters.
I will make sure to see the entire film soon.
Never defend crap with "It's just a movie"
