She found Ned in her pool & made him leave immediately. I do not recall her name
Mrs. Hammar played by Cornelia Skinner, she was PO'd that Ned called her son a friend yet didn't even bother to visit him in the hospital.
Like the original story this film is based on, she too had a few of her writings published in "The New Yorker."
