LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie (SPOILERS - kind of)

I bought this years ago, knowing nothing about it, because I loved Rosemary's Baby and wanted to see another film with Mia Farrow in it. I found this film quite bizarre - especially on first viewing - but absolutely fell in love with everything about it: The place it is set; the beautiful house; the strange characters and acting; the weird story and atmosphere... everything! The development of the weird mother-daughter relationship they both wordlessly decide to inhabit was so confusing and strange first time I saw it... I love the way you just don't know what to think at first. A part of me wished they could go on living holed up in that big house in their strange, reclusive existence... The ending was my least favourite part...
