... Where someone is standing on the street and sees a crosswalk sign that is flashing "DONT WALK" and he looks back at it and it has changed to "RUN"?

I saw a movie probably in the early 1970s with this scene in it, and was wondering if this is the same one. I don't remember who was in that one, but it was pretty creepy.

Would love to see it again.

Actually, it changes from DON'T WALK to DON'T RUN.

I believe you may be thinking of the original 'Deathrace 2000' starring David Carridine.

There is a scene where people waiting at the crossing light which reads 'Don't Walk' just before the killer racers come by. The sign then changes to 'RUN' and the racers try to run down the pedestrians at the crossing.

The crosswalk sign scene is in THE POWER as I described it.

And to re-enforce the crosswalk bit DON"T RUN reappears on some newspaper headlines later on in the movie.

Yes, but the newspaper story is about a politician, not the streetlight.

If we all liked the same movie, there'd only be one movie!
