I bought a Blu-Ray player a couple of months ago and have been watching all of my alltime favorite movies on the player, that I have bought on DVD and finally watched "The Odd Couple" on Blu-Ray. ----- Well, I'll be. The DVD picture quality of "The Odd Couple" is so improved on a Blu-Ray player it's like watching the movie for the first time in a theater, as I did way back in 1968. I was just 17 at the time and absolutely enjoyed the film. ----- And on the subject of the "Odd Couple" wasn't it was great to see all five seasons of the "Odd Couple" TV series finally released on DVD this last November. ----- ----- Rusty

You won't be sorry JoeLoebner. You owe it to yourself to get a Blu-ray player to watch "The Odd Couple". ----- I went Blu-ray back on October 16 2008 because one of my favorite Winona Ryder movies was just released on Blu-ray, "Beetlejuice". --------- I went to Fry's Electronics that day and saw "Beetlejuice" in the Blu-ray movie section, I put the movie in my shopping cart and then went to the back of the store to the DVD and Blu-ray player department to check them out. Well, they had a Sony Blu-ray player for just $280, so I said what the hell, I have to see "Beetlejuice" on Blu-ray and bought the player. ----- When I got home I hooked up the player and watched the movie, it was fantastic to see "Beetlejuice" with picture and sound quality as good as if I were in a movie theater. ----- Since then I've only bought a handful of movies on Blu-ray because they are still a little overpriced for most movies, but I did find a bargain at Fry's two weeks ago, I bought "Nim's Island" on Blu-ray for just $17. ----- Best Buy, Fry's Electronics and Walmart are always having sales on movies on Blu-ray, which is great. ------ Whenever you do buy a Blu-ray player let me know how you like the picture and sound quality. ---------- ----- Rusty

I only wish like england, we had triple combo, dvd, blue ray, vhs, because as a historian ive got old things which are never going to be realsed on newer formats like south african propaganda.
"The Odd Couple" is now available on Blu-ray distributed by Warner Home Video. Warner has a deal with Paramount to release 600 titles on Blu-ray and DVD. The Blu-ray looks stunning as it looked like it was made yesterday.
