Hollywood can remake this brilliant story all they want,but it will not work.

I'm a huge fan of the tv version and (years ago) when I found out it was a movie with two other actors, I didn't want to know. THEN I actually watched the movie and loved it. Still do - in fact, I just watched it again today and asked myself why I don't have this on my shelf.

Randall and Klugman were fantastic, but Matthau and Lemmon rule.

I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked.

I agree-- The Original is the top of the heap --- The 1st TV with Klugman and Randall was very good also --- Haven't seen any other renditions

They could do a Re-make, surprised they haven't, Couldn't tell who should star, There are a few current actors that could handle it

For me, the TV version is just as good. Klugman and Randall were perfect in those roles.

I prefer the TV version.

It should be against the law to use 'LOL'; unless you really did LOL!
