The Conquering Worm or The Witchfinder?

Never understood the worm thing, what is that?

What do you mean? Apparently it was released in USA with the title "The Conquering Worm", because Price was popular there for his appearance in moves based on Poe's work. Practically everybody knows it as Witchfinder General and it has nothing to do with Poe.

It's technically "The Conqueror Worm," not "The Conquering Worm." The movie was retitled as such in the USA by AIP to link it with their earlier series of Edgar Allan Poe adaptations directed by Roger Corman and starring Price; the brief prologue and epilogue narrations by Price from Poe's poem of the same name were added to justify the new title.
