who was worse freddie, chad or alecia

freddie was darn near a rapist he was so hyper agressive. he'd tackl alecia and force her down and force kiss her while she was yelling no no no stop

chad was a 30 year old college proffeser screwing around with a 17 year old high school kid.

and alecia was a total bitch doing anything she wanted with no regards for anyone else. and then to top it off getting maried to a dork after 2 or 3 dates.

Do you mean Linda? The movie was amusing at best, but come on! -the characters were shallow and underdeveloped.

Freddy: This is a good illustration of what I'm always saying. Freddie is all hands around her yet Linda continues to put herself in precarious situations with him. If he can't be trusted then she shouldn't associate with him at all. If she does have to be around him for some reason, she should make sure they're never alone and for goodness sake, she should not wear clothes that are that so skimpy they could easily be ripped or yanked off.

A lot of people seem to be against anyone saying that woman need to behave responsibly but let me put it another way. The same principle I believe applies to a woman's responsibility also applies to, for instance, a pothole. Let's say there's a pothole on a particular street, that would be someone like Freddie. Linda knows an encounter may have bad results so she should stay away from the pothole; use a different street. If she must use that street, then she has to take other measures to avoid its affects on her vehicle. In this case, drive slowly through it, go around it, etc. The point is be responsible; be proactive. Complaining after the fact is too late. Ideally the municipality will fill all potholes quickly but that doesn't always happen. By comparison, men; particularly teen-aged ones, are like heat-seeking missiles with hormones raging. Why tempt them? Alter your own behavior to avoid problems instead of hoping and expecting they will do the right thing.

Merrick: Yes he seemed way too old for her and their relationship seemed to spring out of nowhere. It was done to keep us guessing toward the end but I had it all figured out. Still, there was little evidence of a budding romance. They made it seem like it had been going on a while but when she was talking to him about July 4th, the conversation was odd for two people who were supposedly already seeing each other especially since no one else was in the room.

I don't think any of the guys were really right for her but if I had to pick one from that bunch, Id' say he wins. It's just the wrong time. She needed to get an education and independence first; otherwise, she'd probably latch on so tightly to him it would drive him crazy. She'd sit home bored and nagging him he's not home enough.

Linda: Linda was growing up and becoming her own person apart from her parents. She's at the right age for that but instead of figuring out who she was she was quick to follow movements and just float. Merrick snatched her up like a leaf floating in the wind. In that sense it was to her advantage. He might have given her stability but it's likely she will be unhappy no matter what Merrick would do to try to please her.

Damn, I agree about Freddy! What a creeper! It was pretty shocking that Linda would continue to date him.

My intention was not to make Freddie out to be a 'creeper'. He's a hormonal horny teenage boy. It's perfectly normal for him to be interested in girls and eager to get to 'know' them a little better. Girls have that same biological imperative and are interested in getting to know the boys a little better too; though, for many reasons, biological and societal, their urge may not be as strong.

That's why it can be a recipe for trouble when they are left alone and unsupervised. Someone has to put on the brakes. Traditionally, that was the role of the girl because she had more at stake but somehow most of them have been convinced that it's no big deal. They can let it all hang out and it's supposed to make no difference.

That's absurd. That's like putting a meal in front of a starving man. No, he should not take what's not his, but if that's your meal and you're not willing to share or have it disappear, you'd better take all proper precautions. It's not only negligent to leave it up to the starving man to do the right thing but it's also downright cruel for tempting someone in that manner.

Personally, I'm kind of tired hearing about so many young men these days being accused of date rape when, based on the description of what happened, they got their signals crossed. Young women are supposed to be a lot smarter at that point because their brains develop faster but you'd never know it. Young men's brains don't fully develop especially the pre-frontal cortex until they're about twenty-five but they're left in the driver's seat when it comes to not having sex? I'm not saying it can't be done but it makes no sense. Add alcohol to the mix and it makes it even worse.

What I don't understand is how it's supposedly normal these days for a guy to put on a girl's dress and proclaim himself and girl or same sex marriages are being allowed but normal heterosexual behavior is somehow a crime? The feminists won't be happy apparently until all men are emasculated.

No, I'm not saying anyone should force anyone else to do what they don't want to do but a lot of the cases I've heard sound like both parties were equally responsible but because of biology, the girl gets to have buyer's remorse and suddenly what happened was all his fault. Absurd!
