No, they were only recently married. There's no way she could have known yet that she was pregnant even if she was. Since getting married she had a complete physical examination. That's how the doctor knew her secret. It's likely he would've also done a pregnancy or rabbit test, as they were often called in those days. If she knew she was with child, the doctor would have known too and that doctor had a little trouble keeping his mouth shut.

I don't think they were legally married since she did it under an assumed name....wouldn't that make the marriage void? I remember when Laura Petrie lied about her age on the marriage certificate and she and Rob had to get married again.

They did have sex so she could be pregnant. My point is she wouldn't know yet. I'm pretty sure, though I wasn't around, they did not have early pregnancy tests like they do today at every pharmacy or store.
From what I've heard they used to do the rabbit test in those days. It was an 'early pregnancy test' but the results were not immediate. Anyway, she had a full exam but it would have probably been too soon for her to know one way or another if she was pregnant.
