How is the title of this movie pronounced?
Based on a British novel in which the scientific station is a British one, presumably it should be "Ice Station Zeb-ra", but even as a Brit, I've always called it "Ice Station Zee-bra", although I'd refer to the animal as a "zeb-ra".
Should be "Zeb-ra", for the reasons you've given: Brit novel, Brit station, Brit pronunciation.
You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.
The Trailer says Zee-bra, and so does Rock..... and so does McGoohan... perhaps surprisingly, but then again... it was an American movie.
