The Crowbar Scene...
was idiotic. It relied entirely on McGoohan's character regaining consciousness just at the right moment to see Jim Brown attacking Ernest. Honestly, what idiot allows himself to be attacked with a crowbar like that. It would have been easier to just shoot the guy and put the crowbar in his hand afterwards.
