For 40 years now I have hated the Studios Explosion ending, I always knew there was something wrong with it and now I finally find out there is an original alternative ending and here it is and it is WAAYYY better then that stupid Explosion ending.

It is so much more fitting and meaningful and ends the movie the way it should have ending.

Hey, thanks, ID, I've been wanting to see that for ages. Yes, a great improvement, although I'm now bothered by the question, what happened next? Because they still seem to be stuck together on an uninhabited island, although rather better equipped.
