I think so. Arkin's best performance. Locke and Chuck McCann and Cicely Tyson were excellent.

'68 was a great year for movies: Planet of the Apes, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Rosemary's Baby, The Odd Couple, and Bullitt are just a few. Hard to say what's best.

That's a real embarrassment of riches! 1968 also brought us "The Producers," "Oliver," "Funny Girl," "Charly" and "The Lion in Winter." All are excellent films in addition to the ones you mentioned, but "Rosemary's Baby" has a strange power over me.
