I noticed that as well. Those poor horses probably had wounds all over them by the end of this movie.

Just watched this again after Lee's death and thought the same thing. Like Drac, take it down a notch.

This scene is obviously sped up and it is doubtful the horses were struck as actors are taught how to "fake it" with fighting scenes and stunts.

I know, it's pretty funny. I guess he doesn't care about the welfare of ANY living beings, not just humans.
