Truly's hairstyle in the "Doll on a Music Box" scene

First make two ponytails that's more towards the back of your head.

Next, you create an English braid out of them both. The key is to not braid the hair all the way down. You want to leave a good chunk of hair at the bottom so that you can cover up your hair ties with it.

Next, you want to loop the braid in the direction that it wants to loop. What you want to try to do though is use the hair tie at the bottom and mash it up against the hair tie at the top. You then want to wrap your hair around both. Hopefully you've left enough hair out that you can wrap around a couple of times.

After you've done all that, you want to take four bobby-pins and put them in like a compass (north, south, east, and west). You want to slide them into the side and sneak them in under the rubber band.
