I remember the film from probably the 1970's on late night TV, I also remember that there was a lot of talk. All we saw of the Bofor's gun was a canvas covered framework, as I remember it. However, we were introduced to that most important piece of British military guardhouse equipment, the Dais, which was a large round platform with pads upon which the off-duty sentries would catch naps during their 24 hour tour of duty. Head to the centre, with their clothes and boots still on, rifles in a nearby rack.
A reflection of necessary, but boring peace time military service.
If I remember correctly, the only set after an early look at the covered Bofers gun in the darkness was the guardroom and the dais.
Just to note, Bofors is a swedish gun maker. So it's not Bofor's Gun, or Bofers gun, but Bofors gun. :)
