Dick Martin dead

I just read the article on Yahoo!!! He was one hell of an showman!!! He will be sorely missed!!!

Rest in peace, Dick.

I guess even he couldn't escape the "Flying Fickle Finger of Fate".

Yea... No front page IMDB news story. No mention on the evening news. Not even a mention on the entertainment tabloid television shows. Even on E! the news went untold.

Kind of sad when you consider how pioneering Laugh-In was, and how many stars came out of that show. And not just in front of the camera. Look at the writing credits. Jeremy Lloyd and Lorne Michaels for example.

As a footnote Jeremy Lloyd was a close friend of Douglas Adams and was a writer on the Hitchhiker Guide to the Galaxy radio program.

While he is certainly no Harvey Korman it is unfortunate, and sad that he went almost completely forgotten.
