Let Laugh-In Rest In Peace!!!

I was a Senior in High School 1967/1968 and loved the series first time through.

When it came back in syndication late 1980s I watched for a while but it didn't take long before it was obvious the Vietnam Era humor just didn't hold up. I got it the first time. I got it the second time. Didn't want it a third time!

Now many of the Vietnam Era people are well into their Senior Citizen years.

For you posters 40 and under....

Do you know what "Sock it to me!" was all about?

Do you know it played a part in the Presidential race of 1968?

Which candidate said it on Laugh-In?

(And we think 2016 Campaign is screwed up!!)

BTW 18 year olds could not vote in that election, but we could drink!

When you have to ask your grandparents to explain everything to you that will get old quickly and may be an embarrassment to them!
