I miss this show
Does anyone else ??
shareI miss this show so much!!! I watched this show ever since i could remember and im 37 so the mid to late 80s,90s,2000s, and the early 2010s till it got cancelled i remember well!! I didnt even try to watch the online mess because i knew it wouldnt last!! So to me this show ended in 2012 and ive missed it ever since!!!
shareI miss it too
shareYes!! I started watching this show when I was in grade school (I'm 41 now). My mother was a fan of all the ABC soaps. One Life to Live was my favorite. I was obsessed with Erica Slezak and the Multiple Personality Disorder storylines. I couldn't get enough of Vicki/Niki/Jean/Tori/Tommy/Princess/Victor. I even liked the online version. It wasn't as good as the network version, but at least I could get my Vicki fix a few days a week.
shareIt's a shame when a good show like this is cancelled but crap like 'The Young and the Restless' stays on.
"Never let them catch you acting!" (Lillian Gish)
I do but I have to admit that the storylines went downhill around 2008 because what killed the soap opera was focusing to much on the teenagers. Starr and Cole was the corniest couple and the acting went downhill. The hired more models then actors, we needed more theater actors.
shareI miss the show too, but I will agree that the storylines..and I would say overall quality of the show... did go downhill in later years in a major way. Most of the main characters were ruined by bad writing and shoehorned in drama that didn't feel organic at all or even true to their characters(Jessica having DID, Marty Saybrooke turning into a total nut case and going around scheming and attempting to murder people, creating a rift between Natalie and Jessica that didn't even make sense).
I mean, I love this show. It's been my favorite since I started watching back in 2003. But it really turned into a fiasco during the mid-2000s, to the point I almost look at its cancellation as merciful.
