Get a fairly large chunk of actors to fly out to Connecticut to film episodes of TWO different soaps? Possibly even several times a year? VERY impractical if you ask me. I believe its lucky that the revivals were put out of their misery, going by this line of reason.

At the time many of the actors were still New York based. And many actors keep residence, or have access to residence, on both coasts.

Because the casts of All My Children and One Life To Live each took turns sitting on my face, in exchange for lodging and travel expenses.
