any info re other seasons dvd release?

Yeah - I would like to know too - in my experience (with other syndicated shows that have had DVD releases) they test the water to see how profitable the first season is before committing to further releases. Unless CBS Paramount have actually indicated a commitment to release all 5 seasons ( and I have not heard or read anything on this at all from website browsing) it'll be a case of wait and see. What we need to do is go tell everyone we know who enjoyed this show or think would enjoy this show to go hire season 1 from their DVD store or to actually buy it to show their kids. I think kids today could benefit from the values of Pete, Linc and Julie and Capt. Greer....

OK - I have now been in touch with CBS Paramount Distribution and got a response form the Director of Worldwide DVD Production. The good news is that they are planning to release Season 2 towards the end of the year ( No definitive date given as yet) but I am guessing it'll be a December/March split release along the same lines of Season 1. The bad news is that, based on sales of season 1, they will only be releasing in the US as the release was far better received there ( as I guess it would be) than elsewhere in the world. Not good news for those of us in the rest of the world BUT if you have a multi region DVD player than you WILL be able to order in from the US via AMAZON or other such DVD distributors so there is some hope. So for all you non US fans who currently DON"T have a multi-region player, well there's an incentive to save and upgrade!!!
