What is it about Julie?

shareWhat is there to think?
You liked her and there were girls who had a crush on the guys as well.
I'm a weeee bit younger than you are.
I remember thinking the exact same thing back in '68, '69. MeTV is showing re-runs and I think she is pretty hot now too.
I don't know what it is either. She's not exactly stunning or curvaceous but I've had a crush on her for a very long time. I'm reluctant to check out recent photos. I say recent 'cause I'm not too sure if/when she has passed away.
Anyway, you're not alone in your feelings!
"I notice when you get to DISlikin' someone they ain't around for long neither."
Eddy, Peggy is very much alive. It is we who are dead.
shareMod Squad premiered just two days before my own tenth Birthday. I'm sure that I, too, had a crush on Julie back then.
I've seen several of the episodes in the past week or so, that it's been on METV. I've found that I still have a crush on her. I had forgotten how truly beautiful Peggy Lipton is.
She has that natural, "Girl Next Door" beauty; the type that doesn't need a lot of make-up, or any special hairstyle.
What are you looking under here for?
I'm watching the MS marathon right now on the Decades channel. In all of Peggy Lipton's close-ups, it doesn't look like she's wearing a stitch of make-up and some of her blemishes are showing through. But the au naturel look just seems to enhance her breathtaking beauty as opposed to if she were sporting the over-the-top 60's Twiggy look (yech).
shareyea I noticed that same thing (facial blemishes) last night in a few of the episodes i watched. I wish Decades would open up their measly ass budget and get some interviews of the stars of these shows they feature on the Marathons to interspearse throughout the marathons.
shareWell, it helps that Peggy Lipton is drop dead gorgeous. She also has a wholesomeness and a sensuality to her that makes her sexy, but also believable as someone people would feel comfortable coming to for help and understanding.
I don't care that they didn't make her some Foxy Brown style physical badass. She could've been given a little more, yes. But, at least the show didn't make her out to be a lot more physically imposing than she actually is. Unlike shows like Homeland where characters are made to go on and on about how amazing and capable the female protagonist is when the show shows the complete opposite. -_-"
