Actually, you hear the same music playing in many of the episodes of "The Andy Griffith Show" (which was on way before "F-Troop").
shareyou got it backwards. F-Troop stole Andy Griffith's in-story theme song.
Mayberry R.F.D.'s theme song was used as the incidental theme music in The Andy Griffith Show even during the first season which was way before F-Troop ever premiered.
