everyone says they all died in a plane crash years ago. thats apparently not true. Paul Winchell, who did the voice of fleegle and also the voice of tigger on winnie the pooh died this year.

I was like that sounds like Tigger and duh! I should have known. I don't know how the plane crash rumor got started.

I remember hearing that when I was a kid, too. It upset me until I found out it was not true.

The plane crash story I heard years ago started as a result that while leaving Kings Dominion in Virginia and flying out of Richmond, the plane they had charted had some kind of mechanical problem and had to return to Richmond. The Richmond Times Dispatch printed a story saying the plane crashed at the airport (not true) and did not verify the source. That was years ago.
