I honestly think that classic television shows like The Banana Splits were harmless fun shows. Now a days t.v. shows for kids have sharpely drawn cartoons that do battle against each over, or they are really bad cartoons like The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Fairly Odd Parents, and everyones favorite idiot SpongeBob SquarePants.
Please someone out there bring back the good classic television shows.
The saddest part of today's cartoons is that they try to include everyone and offend no one. Now, instead of just producing great cartoons, gimics, taglines, catchy phrases like Uh-oh, Chongo! we get "Hello!" in 106 languages including some dead languages.
Even as a late teen, I'd just get the biggest kick out of watch Bugs and Friends for the hundredth time or Casper, the Friendly Ghost, not Casper, The Only Non Demoninational, hope not to frighten you, spirit of good tidings.
