I had a serious fear of this show.

seriously.
I was terrified of it when I was a kid.
Those guys just creeped me out.
I still feel the same way.

Yeah, they are alittle disturbing. I just plain hated whole thing. I'd get home and want some Warner Bros toons and get confronted with this inane drek. On the positive side, it kept me away from the TV for an hour.

i'm only 15 and I used to be scared of it when it ran on Cartoon Network back in the 1990's. My granny would turn it off at 9:30 (i think) when it used to come on. Then before it was removed from CN it came on at 4:30 am

My girlfriend just started watching this show as it is being rerun on teletoon retro here in canada and i have to admit this thing really freaks me out. I dont know how kids find this funny let alone get it. its full of drug references and psychadelia that alludes me. I thought the teletubies were full of weird *beep* this is by war worse, I can imagine the cast and crew being tottaly wasted when making this.

weird.

I feel the same way - it makes me feel creeped out.
It looks like it was filmed in some serial killer's basement, and the costumes look dirty. Everything looks filthy, like the costumes were sewn together from a bunch of old rags.

I feel your pain, OP. I was born in '73, and I was always creeped out by all the Sid and Marty Krofft shows when they reran on television. They were just too weird for me, even though they were meant for my age group.
