Love the show, love the cars
Also cool (and a little sad) to see Los Angeles so relatively unspoiled and uncrowded.

That's wild. Thanks! What a treasure trove.
shareI hate that they're taking this (and Dragnet) off MeTV. It portrays Law Enforcement in a positive light; and I love Officer Malloy.
shareIt's now on Cozi TV
shareSeriously, get Netflix. The monthly price is seven bucks, almost free.
You can have full series runs of Adam 12, Emergency, Dragnet 1967, Columbo, Rockford Files, Quincy, Quantum Leap, Twilight Zone, etc. in clean quality, available any time day or night.
I am not a Netflix salesman or investor, but holy moley Batman, it's just the show source of the future here now. Absolutely perfect for drowning yourself in old shows.
As someone who didn't move to LA until 2005 it's intersting seeing it back then. I love watching for the gas prices, 29.9 cents per gallon in one case. There are also a couple of establishing shots of the station that show a Scientilogy building across the street.
shareKind of funny how the .9 was a full sized number back then. Before the recent drop in gas prices (hope it lasts a long time), there was a day when I filled up for $3.899 then watched an Adam-12 episode where they drive past a station where gas is $.389. It was slightly amusing, but not amusing enough to keep me from preferring the $1.959 at the pump where I filled last night.
