Netflix Woes

First Mission Impossible - now Adam 12 is gone from streaming service.
Is nothing sacred???!!!!

Adam-12 is on Hulu, for what it's worth, as is Dragnet--perfect back-to-back... in re Mission:Impossible, does Netflix ever bring shows back? I ask because they took the "Rocky" movies down a few months ago and now they're available again, maybe the same thing will happen with "M:I"...

Hulu doesn't have ALL of Adam-12... only the first four seasons. (And even then, it doesn't have every episode of season 1 for some reason.) Plus, nobody seems to have the same quality that Netflix has, especially if someone wants to take screen-pics.

The competition for rights to stream shows is heating up. For classics like Adam-12 and new shows. Providers see opportunities to get new subscribers by getting certain titles. The agreements don't go forever and if it doesn't make financial sense to renew then we lose them.

That makes no sense. Why would you WANT them to get RID of shows? The optimal situation is for them to just keep ADDING content perpetually until you have a massive selection, there's no issue with finding what you want through search.

A viewer wants to always find what they want, all the time, without having to resort to waiting for episodes to show up on broadcast tv. Even YOU said you were tired of the "same old thing". Well they don't have to REMOVE shows to make space or something, they can just keep adding new stuff.

Unfortunately, due to contractual agreements, shows disappear, and it sucks. And due to limited budgets, they also can't get a lot of new stuff very fast. That's the problem, not "stale" old stuff.
