A Different Thing
Definite reverse gender discrimination. The opening of the episode has Reed and Malloy responding to a complaint about the noise from a couple of housewives practicing Karate. Then the husband of the one who lives there comes out and admits to the complaint, and takes off his sunglasses to reveal a black eye. The officers tell him it's his own problem and leave and they plainly hear the guy getting beaten up as they leave. Apparently domestic abuse wasn't a crime when the female was the abuser, but I bet they'd be quick to arrest the male if he defended himself.
