As the movie progressed, I kept feeling that Mike was beginning to like Suzy - a lot. Maybe he was even falling for her. I think he regretted his part in all this (of course, especially at his end) :-).
Yes, I think so. That's why he's just going to walk away from her without hurting her, or trying to get the doll. I think what he is about to say to Susy is not to worry about Carlino, and to destroy the doll if she finds it. Mike probably intends to kill Carlino, if he has to, to protect Susy, if he can't talk him out of going back for the doll. He probably is aware that Roat can potentially turn the tables on Carlino, and intends to check and make sure that Carlino has really taken care of Roat.

shareYeah I think he had. Especially when she touched his face to "read" him there was something in the way that he was looking at her that seemed like he had fallen for her.
