This is just my guess, she was trying to prove herself that she could change her clothes, appear normal to the bad three. She may have thought I get dressed somehow manage to get to the police station without drawing suspension. They may think I am is going out for dinner.
shareMaybe it's just because she'd been in those other clothes all day, and wanted to 'freshen up'. It wasn't until after she changed that it really hit the fan, even though she'd had suspicions earlier.
