I know it had to be done with this movie being filmed outdoors most of the time, but dubbing really gets on my nerves! You know you're not hearing the original dialogue. And Jackie Bisset's voice seems to have been dubbed by another actress entirely, aka like Andie McDowell's voice was in Tarzan! It didn't sound like her at all, although yes she was quite young here. Does anyone agree it wasn't her voice?

i'm pretty sure that was the only dubbing in the whole movie. so I'm not sure what you mean by "So Much Dubbing". it was only jackie i think. what other parts do you think are dubbed?
According to the great Stanley Donen on the commentary on the DVD release, all of Jacqueline's dialogue was dubbed...nearly the whole movie, as a matter of fact. You can imagine, in automobiles and outdoors. I imagine the little dialogue that was saved was some of the indoors scenes that wasn't on location.
shareIf I remember correctly from the DVD commentary, you're right, there was quite a lot of dubbing throughout the movie due to the noisy locations, but Jacqueline Bisset was the only actor who was not able to record her own voice tracks. Director Stanley Donen acknowledged his disappointment in the commentary, pointing out quite accurately that Bisset's voice is one of her most attractive qualities, and explained that he tried very hard to get as close a match as possible.
shareI'm glad I'm not the only one bothered by that -- sometimes it seems I am. Yes, though I didn't keep track, I noticed repeatedly through the film that voices were out of sync with lips, sometimes pretty badly. Perhaps my sensitivity to it stems from a lot of time in vocal music, especially choral.

Well I guess you never saw the early Bond films where one or more actors were dubbed in the first SIX films.

The technology for foley and dubbing didn't get perfected until the early 70's.
