should i see the play

Is the play worth seeing? I absolutely adore the movie, but from what I've heard, the play is pretty different. I'm planning on asking to see a play on Broadway as a Christmas or birthday present and I'm deciding which one I should set my heart on... I've never seen a play on Broadway before. I'm thinking this, My Fair Lady, or Beauty and the Beast. Which one?? Or would you suggest a different one? Advice please!!!

Do you mean the musical? It's no longer playing...It closed last year. It isn't that different. There's a lot more/different music, but the story is very, very similar and a great deal of the dialogue is lifted from the film. I actually think it works better on stage...My Fair Lady isn't on Broadway at the moment either...check out ibdb.com for what's playing now!

I'm confused. My brother actually is playing the sax in this musical right now and then they break around 12/12. Do you mean just in New York? Because it is in some states right now. Like they are in Palm Springs right now, then Palm Desert, etc....

He'll be touring though, won't he? She means the broadway show, and that has closed...

It closed? Sad...I saw this musical. It was great! I heart it!
