Andrews looked good with natural makeup in the first minute.

I thought when she looked directly into the camera she was quite alluring, more so than I'd seen her in anything else. Maybe the one blank-and-white film in which I saw her came the closest. Or maybe her burlesque style number in Darling Lili.

Julie Andrews is very attractive in this film.

I would have loved if they really went for a truly authentic look for this film : bobs that were tapered and tightly waved or blunt cut and frizzy — so opposite the 1960s aesthetic of straight hair — and kabuki-white faces against bare necks, lots of rouge, bee-stung lips and pencil-line eyebrows.
