I saw a horror film many years ago and my vague memory thinks it was an Oliver Reed film. The most shocking bit I remember was a man falling from a house head first though a car windscreen and a child inside the car screaming. (As you would!)
I've read through most of Oliver Reed's film plots and this seems to fit the best - is it this film?

The film you are remembering is actually "Burnt Offerings" with Oliver Reed, Karen Black and Bette Davis. The kid in the car screaming was an annoying child actor that appeared in several movies in that time period. Odd, he was such a great actor and I can not recall his name....my loss.
The child actor you're referring to is Lee H. Montgomery. He was also in the 70's films "$1,000,000 Duck", "Ben", "Pete 'n Tillie" and "The Savage Is Loose". I understand he works as a musician now.
