I know this is short notice for those who check the boards and are maybe looking for a copy. Turner Classic Movies this Halloween friday on 10/31/08 is airing it at 10:00pm. I have been looking for a copy just to check out this movie hope it's good.
shareyes, i burned this to a disc from the TCM broadcast. Very happy to have this great film finally..but unfortunately the print they showed was a "stretched screen" copy. Originally filmed in 1:85 aspect ratio, it looks like they stretched it to 2:35. This means that everyone looks a bit fat, and has a wide face. Luckily most new tv's can be adjusted to narrow or widen the image..but TCM should have noticed this..
shareYeah, I've seen The Shuttered Room a million times over the years... but I hadn't seen it in maybe a decade or more when it was on TCM on Halloween. I was very happy to see it again -- and to tape it!

Got to FINALLY see this after many years of a haunted memory from childhood. I recorded it to DVR as well but the DVR failed! Luckily it will be available on DVD through Amazon on Dec. 18.
