Poor Gig, I thought, having to appear in this low rent Brit horror flick. Then I checked and found out that his next theatrical release would get him the little gold man: They Shoot Horses, Don't They. By the way, very little of Derleth's story is in the movie.
There is no "off" position on the genius switch.

Yes, and Oliver Reed would appear as Bill Sykes in a Best Picture the next year: Oliver! Then Carol Lynley would appear in the film winning Best Song (Poseidon Adventure) five years later and claim she sang The Song From the Poseidon Adventure "Performed by Carol Lynley (uncredited)."
