A movie made for architects
First of all, this is a great movie with a definite and artistic style, that makes it worth viewing over and over again.
I got the DVD from a friend of mine, who is studying architecture and I have to say the movie is perfectly suited for architects. All the humor originates from the buildings and interaction of people with the city. One can learn what rigorous planning an designing can do to a city. In "Tativille" all creativity is channeled through the architecture and only when it falls apart, as happening in the restaurant, space for people reopens.
And after all, the architect of the restaurant is such a miserable man that everyone has to commiserate with his real life colleges and forgive them all those horrid buildings out there.
