'Fool On The Hill'

I just watched a video of this on YouTube..it
was the "Fool On The Hill" from this movie..

This will sound stupid but oh well!!

Who is the Beatle (I think it's one of the Beatles!)
standing on the hill in the black coat???

I don't know why but the way he smiles
freaks me out--it's like he's not all
together there!!

It's like he's in a daze!!

reply

That was the handsome Mr. McCartney. :)

reply

He was so cute in those days. :)

reply

Yes...a daze...That would be the acid, I should think.

Anyway, I think Paul was at his PEAK in this movie. Gads, I don't know what he was doing from '67 to '68 (other than coke), but he should have kept it up. Nice.

I don't want to achieve immortality through my work. I want to achieve it through not dying.

reply

some moment's of the song he does look like he's tripping pretty hard

reply

Apparently, Paul was involved in filming as well as appearing for that scene and not surprised OP had trouble recognising him. Paul appears blurred as he chose the wrong lens to shoot the scene!

Its that man again!!

reply

He would have only been about 25.

reply

Paul, as he himself said in his autobiography, was never super into acid, although he tried several times. But he smoked weed everyday and sure hell he was super stoned all through this movie, especially in France when shooting "Fool on the Hill":

reply

He's not in a daze, he's supposed to be a fool, a la "Fool on the Hill." Come on, use your brain.

reply

Sure! But he was stoned. Ask Paul!"

reply

Yes, stoned on pot, not acid.
