Is the current DVD release the remastered version done by Apple with the re-mixed soundtrack by George Martin or is it from the more inferior copies that went around in the 80's?
You can tell as the remastered version has the Apple logo at the start.

The Region 4 DVD I recently picked up is a disappointingly bad transfer on the Avenue One label, dated 2001. No extras, no indication of remastering. Is there a better R4 release available?
shareThe question is presented three years ago! But the answer is the same, there are no quality re-releases of the movie on DVD. As a general rule for all Beatles DVDs there should be: beware! The quality of the release is usually just awful, it's probably been transferred from some muddy VHS tapes.
